Casey Arthur Mize is an American professional baseball pitcher for the San Diego Padres of Major League Baseball (MLB). He has previously played in MLB for the Detroit Tigers. Mize played college baseball for the Auburn Tigers and was selected by the Detroit Tigers with the first overall pick in the 2018 MLB draft. He made his MLB debut in 2020 and was an All-Star in 2025.
