Christopher Michael Bassitt is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Baltimore Orioles of Major League Baseball (MLB). He has previously played in MLB for the Chicago White Sox, Oakland Athletics, New York Mets, and Toronto Blue Jays. He made his MLB debut with the White Sox in 2014. Prior to playing professionally, he starred for his basketball and baseball teams at Genoa Area High School and the University of Akron.
