David Robert Mackay is a Scottish former professional football player, who was recently the assistant manager of Dunfermline Athletic. He played as a defender for Dundee, Brechin City, Arbroath, Oxford United, Livingston and St Johnstone. Mackay captained St Johnstone when they won the 2014 Scottish Cup Final. Because of this, he's now regarded as a legend at St Johnstone.
